South Tyrol’s cuisine in all its diversity
South Tyrol offers excellent, varied cuisine and outstanding wines. Traditional, Mediterranean-inspired – this is the philosophy of Manfred, who cooks with fresh ingredients for you every day with his crew. A highlight for connoisseurs is the spacious panorama terrace, where you can enjoy Italian coffee in the afternoon, “Swing” organic sparkling wine as an aperitif, or a smoky cognac at the end of the day. In our quaint and cosy Almstüberl dining area, wine tastings are held. Cocktails and wine recommendation are junior boss Peter’s specialities. Ask him for his current recommendation, he always has tasty tips ready for you! Fancy a wine safari? We are happy to give you recommendations on where to find the most beautiful wine walks and help you with the organisation.
Tip: Even if it is difficult to do without Manfred’s culinary skills for an evening, we recommend a visit to the Restaurant zum Löwen in Tesimo/Tisens. Simply cancel half board early, reserve a table, and enjoy Anna Matscher’s delicacies. The hostess and chef in the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star among other awards.

Between apple orchards and mountain peaks, at the starting point for hikes and bike tours, and only 15 kilometres from the spa town of Merano/Meran and the provincial capital of Bolzano/Bozen, you will find true happiness.
