The Merano doctor Josef Oedl once discovered that the sulphate- and mineral-rich natural spring in Völlan has a healing effect. Now, there is a restaurant of the same name with chapel and bathing cures. A bath in the healing spring is supposed to have positive effects on joint and circulatory complaints, as well as skin problems.
